Your pet may not be able to speak, but wellness checks can speak for them and support the best quality of life for your companion animal.

During your pet’s wellness exam our veterinarians and team will:

• Check your pet’s heart health, including, heart murmurs, abnormal heart rhythm, and signs of heart disease

• Provide a dental check, examining for infection, impaction, gum soreness and disease, plaque, and tartar

• Listen to your pet’s lungs

• Evaluate your pet’s eyes and ears

• Assess the health status of your pet’s skin, abdomen, lymph nodes, joints, and muscles

• Administer vaccines and prescribe preventative medicines

• Consult you on your pet’s behavior, diet, exercise, and answer any questions you may have

• Perform blood tests and other lab tests to analyze your pet’s overall health and to check for parasites

During the first months of your pet’s life, he or she requires the most veterinary care. Why? This is when they are the most fragile, vulnerable, and require immunizations to help prevent disease. As your puppy or kitten grows and develops into a strong and healthy dog or cat, we can make the journey smooth and safe with everything your pet needs to stay healthy.

Puppies and kittens require exams and vaccines at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, and annually thereafter.

For parasite prevention, we recommend yearly Heartworm testing and yearly fecal exams to detect & prevent intestinal parasites. We offer a wide variety of heartworm, flea & tick preventatives. We also offer testing for tick-transmitted diseases.

Your pet’s oral health is a good indicator of his or her overall well-being. We check the teeth and gums at every wellness exam to look for signs of infection or other dental problems. Additionally, you can schedule an appointment for a dental cleaning under general anesthesia. Our staff works with clients to teach them proper toothbrushing techniques for an at-home routine.

Your pet deserves the best and most thorough care. Our highly trained staff uses the latest radiology equipment and techniques to diagnose your pet. X-rays allow us to see what’s below the surface. Digital X-Rays are a non-invasive tool we use to assess your pet’s skeletal health, organs, and body while providing you with images to better understand your pet’s physical condition for better prevention and treatment.

For pets and their owners, surgery is stressful. We want you to feel confident that your pet is in good hands during surgery. To make the process less stressful, we communicate with you at all stages including any recommended pre-surgical bloodwork and what to expect for aftercare.
